I Can't Stop Thinking About This COS Skirt—3 Ways I'm Planning to Wear It

One of the best parts of my job is the access to exciting fashion insights. We get to know the trends that are about to take off, the next sell-out styles before they're all gone and the pieces that fashion people are adding to their wardrobes in real time. What's even better is that we get to share these findings with you. And right now, there's one particular flying-off-the-shelves item that I want to talk about: COS' Double-Faced Wool Column Maxi Skirt (£115).

Inevitably, some trending styles will be more of a flash in the pan than a lifelong wardrobe acquaintance, but this sleek skirt is quite the opposite. Understated, refined and an instant injection of polish into any look, it's easy to see why this skirt (and the wool skirt trend in general) is taking off right now. The brilliance of this style is that it's so clean that it can be elevated with boots or heels or worn casually with trainers and a cosy knit.
