Dresses have never really been my "thing". I’m a jeans and T-shirt girl till the end! But this summer something has switched. When it hasn’t been raining, it’s been scorching, and even just from a practical perspective, getting my legs out has been entirely necessary. So I’ve invested in three summer dresses: a mini, a maxi and a slip dress. And between them they have become my summer go-tos. Whether I'm building an outfit for running errands, the beach, or an evening out with friends, these three dresses have me covered. Here’s how I’ve been styling them.

Style Notes: When I saw this collaboration, I ordered this dress immediately. Not only is Monikh Dale one of the chicest people I know, but a square-cut neckline dress was exactly what I was looking for. I find it to be a flattering fit on me, and a spaghetti strap situation gives that simple "I just threw this on" vibe. 100% silk and with a small slit in the back of the hem, it’s as easy to wear as it is to style. I enjoy wearing it with a more structured bag to balance out the beach-y feel, and the Emme Parsons Bari Sandals are a no-brainer.

Style Notes: Never has a dress made me feel so chic, for real. It’s mini, that’s for sure, but the slightly flared cut makes me feel fab and girlie and that’s just not something that I usually go for in my wardrobe. That’s meant that it’s given me options and a lot more versatility. I really like wearing it with my Manolo pumps and some kind of woven raffia bag. The straps tie onto the dress at the back so you get cute little bows, and they're adjustable. Double win.

Style Notes: Now, I’ve owned slip dresses before and I’ve owned mini dresses, but never before have I owned a tunic dress. Being a first, this really adds options to my wardrobe, and not only did I think it would be great as a beach cover-up or just a general hot-weather dress, but I really fell in love with the relaxed feel and the idea of styling it with structured sandals and some oversized jewellery to lean into the organic shape. This looks incredible with the Lie Studio Ellie Necklace—it's the perfect finishing touch.
