33 New-In Pieces From H&M, COS and Arket That Have My Full Attention

After a few months now of cold weather, I've found I pretty much wear the same three outfits on rotation. Don't get me wrong, rewearing styles is an overarching goal of mine, to make the most of my purchases and allow each piece a long life in my wardrobe. But the reason I was rewearing the exact same looks is that some key styles were missing from my winter capsule wardrobe. But with the start of a new year, I'm determined to start filling those gaps and revitalising my trusty cold-weather rotations. Thankfully, the high-street is one step ahead of me.

When scouring the high street for new in styles there's a few things to consider. First, does it have a place in my wardrobe? Finding a great piece is one thing, but it only becomes a worthwhile purchase if you know that it suits your personal aesthetic, and will therefore be something you choose to take the tags off of. Second, will it stand the test of time? I like to consider if I'll be able to wear it for other occasions and events, or even if I can pull it out next winter. Finally, I like to hunt for items that look well beyond their price tag. Not only is that great for my bank balance, but also means that they probably include some timeless, classic elements or clever design that will ensure I want to pull them out of my wardrobe time after time. Lucky for us, COS, Arket and H&M have come through with a plethora for polished styles that would have everyone second guessing their high street origins.

Keep scrolling to explore the expensive-looking new-in pieces from COS, Arket and H&M that will bolster your outfit builds this winter.

1. ARKET

Trust me, no one will believe this is a high street find.

It doesn't get more classic or elevated than a chic, sculptural knit.

Pure shearling-lined comfort in a shoe (they also come in brown suede).

A slouchy knit that still looks effortlessly elevated.

I have a feeling you're going to be seeing a lot more of this bag.

You definitely need the matching trousers, too.

Perfect with a pair of blue jeans.

A white shirt is a wardrobe essential.

The slip skirt is such a versatile piece to see you through every season.

This is such a gorgeous lilac tone.

2. COS

I'm so into the boxy cut of this versatile jacket.

A great pair of knee-high boots are simply timeless.

Easy to dress up (or down) and so very cool.

From the light-beige hue to the classic shape, this coat looks endlessly premium.

I could rant all day about how much I love this leather coat but, but there simply isn't enough time.

Remember that COS bag? There's a new style in nylon too.

This has to be the most polished maxi skirt on the high street this season.

Proof that casual pieces can still make a statement.

I'm a big fan of the whole matching set.

Such a cool take on the classic shirt dress.

3. H&M

I can guarantee this will never date or age.

The bold cuffs are a really nice detail.

This'll pair beautifully with workwear tailoring.

An elegant shirt that could pair with so many pieces.

There's no need to splash out on real leather when these look just as good,

Wear with knee high boots and a long trench coat.

The trench coat is a timeless staple—and this one's at a price you can't help but love.

Tell me that these couldn't pass for designer.

Taking you straight from the office to drinks.

The ideal layering piece.

If you told me this elegant skirt was designer, I'd believe you.
