I've come to understand that the festive period is marked by different things for different people. Whilst some are enthused by evenings spent wandering around Christmas markets and the joys of gift-giving, others are simply relieved to have some downtime worked into the calendar. Speaking on behalf of fashion editors, we'd be lying if we told you that the advent of sale season didn't contribute to our festive spirit in a pretty big way.
