We hardly miss a beat when it comes to boot trends here at Who What Wear, and there's no doubt that knee-high boots are dominating right now. They're spotted on a plethora of influencers and celebrities and all over our Instagram feeds. While there are plenty of chic knee-high boots on the market to keep our toes toasty this winter, I've been on a relentless mission this month to find tall boots that are chic and that I can actually walk in.

Knee-high boots with a low heel are ideal, as they're polished enough to wear to work with a pleated midi skirt, on the weekend over skinny jeans, and for dinner and drinks when teamed with dresses. After an exhaustive search, I found the 34 best for all budgets and tastes—from fashion person–approved creamy colours and mock-croc styles to pointed toes and luxurious fabrics. Plus, all these stylish boots boast a heel height under three inches for a commuter-friendly option. Scroll below for your new favourite shoes.

The most sought-after boots of the season.

This cream-coloured hue looks so expensive.

Another reason not to overlook the high street.

These come in a plethora of colorus and fabrics, but I'm partial to this rich chocolate-brown suede.

This pair also comes in a deep chocolate and timeless tan.

I just know this fluted heel is beyond comfortable to walk in.

These hit on the moto-boot trend that's happening this fall, but ultimately feel like a timeless take on the look.

The chunkier heel is an assurance of all day comfort.

Style Notes: For day or night, comfortable footwear is key.

With a slim two-inch heel and streamlined toe shape, these are one of those rare heeled boots that look just as good as they feel. I can attest to their next-level comfort—I just received my order and have barely been able to keep them off.

I've completely fallen for this olive green shade.

If you haven't had the chance to try Reformation's shoes yet, consider this your official invitation. They're surprisingly comfortable and absolutely chic. Just take the Regina boots, for example, which feature a gorgeous 2.9-inch angled heel and pointed toe.

There are plenty of black knee-high boots on the market right now, but this style is especially classic and 100% wearable with its stacked block heel and roomy square-toe shape.

Standout customer review: "Really great boots, beautiful quality for the price. Others I have been looking at were more than double."

These slim kitten heels look utterly chic and designer to me.

Imbued with a subtle Western embroidery motif, Khaite's Dallas Boots are a sleek, modern take on the boot trend with a nondescript kitten heel that makes them both cool and walkable.

Another winning Reformation style that comes in a range of colours and fabrics.

You can always count on Aeyde to deliver cool yet timeless styles that are built to last. The Esme boots are made with a pointed toe and sculptural heel that's ideal for wearing with mini hemlines to show it off.

Trendy but not too trendy—that's how I'd describe these knee-high boots with a sculptural sleek kitten heel that you just know will be a dream to walk in.

Suede block-heel boots like these always remind of what a French woman would wear in the fall with printed dresses and chunky knits.

Vagabond has built a reputation for high-quality shoes that are comfortable and easy to wear, and this pair is certainly no exception.

Point-toe boots will truly never go out of style.

I honestly can't believe this pair is still in stock.

When in doubt, go for a stacked heel.

You can always count on suede boots to be forgiving and not leave you with any blisters.

A chunkier heel adds height without losing comfort.

I can't decide which pair I love the most, this chocolate brown or the classic black.
