Is It Just Me, or Is Everyone Wearing Dresses From This High-Street Brand?

It's been a tough year for the great British high street, but one brand that's made it through lockdown (and is looking stronger than ever) is high-street mainstay Warehouse. Recently acquired along with Karen Millen, Oasis and Coast (and with a fresher, more directional feel), the brand is steadily becoming an affordable go-to for everything from slick tailoring to statement accessories. And if Instagram's best-dressed influencers are anything to go by, it's been given the fashion stamp of approval.

Warehouse's dresses, in particular, have been a hit with the influencer crowd this summer, and as such, I had to snap up a couple of styles for myself. From statement cut-outs and dramatic colour-block prints to tassel-detail hems and floaty styles, the brand's expensive-looking offerings are really impressive this season. I even find myself regularly refreshing the new-in page for the latest drop.

While scrolling through Instagram, I often lose track of the number of Warehouse frocks that I've spotted. So naturally, I've compiled an edit of the styles that have particularly caught my eye.

Scroll down to see and shop the dresses that have been given the fashion-person seal of approval this summer. Happy dress hunting!

'90s slip dresses are still an easy way to do day-to-night dressing.

This dress not only looks good, but it's made with 95% recycled polyester, so it does good, too.

The more broderie anglaise for summer the better.

From the hot-red colour to the fringed hem, this showstopping number is at the top of my wish list for party season.

The shirred bodice and sweetheart neckline give this dress a swoon-worthy, romantic feel.

This colour and cut mean business. Just add a pointy kitten heel for vintage appeal.

Mini hemlines + maxi sleeves = an outfit made in heaven.

Buttermilk yellow is an automatically expensive-looking colour. Add tailoring into the mix, and you've got a commanding new look.

There's something charmingly retro about this '60s-shift-meets-'90s-mini dress.
