Suddenly, This 2010s Dress Style Is Back and Being Worn by So Many Celebs

Just a few weeks ago, Alexa Chung wore red jeans. Today, we’re scrolling through NET-A-PORTER searching for fit-and-flare dresses. Does everything point towards the 2010s being officially back ‘in’? Recent years have seen the fit-and-flare dress fall out of favour, as form-fitting, skimming and even billowy dresses dominated sales. Recently however, brands have started to get a little more adventurous, flirting with the silhouettes of yesteryear.

The typically feminine cut has fallen in and out of style more times that we can count, but one brand that has stayed loyal to the design is French fashion house Alaïa. Its classic fit-and-flare dress, which has been a mainstay of the brand's offering since 1981, has been seen on the likes of both Jenner sisters and Elsa Hosk in recent months.
