Hi there! My name is Erin Jahns, and I’ve been writing a mix of beauty and wellness content for Who What Wear for over a year now. Prior to that, I spent two and half years writing for Byrdie. I now call Culver City home, but I grew up in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and studied writing, rhetoric, and communication at University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. I studied abroad in Galway, Ireland, and spent a summer in L.A. interning with the Byrdie and Who What Wear family. The experience confirmed my longtime dream of becoming a beauty editor. After graduating from UW, I spent one year in San Francisco, where I worked as a writer for Pottery Barn Teen and Pottery Barn Kids before moving down to L.A. to begin my career as a beauty editor. I wouldn't rest until I made it back to L.A.! As far as my personal beauty aesthetic, I’m very low-maintenance day to day and rely on staples like my favorite clear brow serum, a touch of concealer (thank you, YSL!), and an eyelash curler. For special occasions or days when I’m taking more meetings or have an event, I'll wear anything and everything from Charlotte Tilbury (her foundations are game-changing), some shimmer on my lids (almost always from Stila Cosmetics or Róen Beauty), and a few coats of the best mascara on earth, Glossier’s Lash Slick.
