Alexa Chung Just Wore the Winter Coat Trend That's So London

The cold weather has arrived, and with it boots, wool coats, shearling and knitwear. But as we move further into winter, we're seeing the return of leather hurried into the capital. In the form of jackets, boots, sandals and skirts, we love them all. But, lately, we've been eyeing up a rather large leather good: the black leather trench coat.

There may be no clothing item more synonymous with British fashion than the classic trench coat, so when autumn takes the helm and leather sweeps the nation, we can't help but want to merge the two. 

Spotted sporting the growing trend was Alexa Chung who on recently posed outside of a London Black Cab wrapped up in her leather trench coat wearing white lace tights and knee-high leather boots.
