Swimwear shopping can quickly become expensive, and while we might all want to buy a Lisa Marie Fernandez or Mara Hoffman swimsuit, many of us don't want to splurge on something we'll only wear for a week or two each year.

Luckily, the high street has really upped its swimwear game this season, as Zara, Mango and more have expanded their collections with plenty of expensive-looking suits, many for under £100. And just because it's from the high street, doesn't mean it isn't a great investment that you'll love and wear for years.

If you want something simple, Arket and COS have gorgeous, classic one-pieces, while if you have a weakness for colourful prints, you'll want to see the one-pieces we've found at Free People and Mango. Scroll below to shop our edit of the best swimsuits on the high street.

1. Mango

Swimwear with scallop details is everywhere this year.

One-shoulder swimsuits always look more premium.

2. Arket

So simple, but so gorgeous. Imagine this with white wide-leg linen trousers and flip flops.

Square-neckline swimsuits are so flattering.

Add a chunky gold chain and a miniskirt for after-dark styling.

3. & Other Stories

Trust & Other Stories to create the perfect printed style.

4. COS

You could also wear this one with jeans and heels.

5. Zara

Imagine this with layers of gold jewellery.

There's something so stylish about a black swimsuit, don't you think?

6. H&M

Stripes always get a yes from me.

I used to avoid green, but now I'm loving a ticking stripe print like the above in the colourway.

7. Free People

I love a strapless style for minimal tan lines.

8. Boden

A crinkle fabrication always looks so expensive.

9. M&S

This style has padded cups for maximum support and comfort.
