The It List: Everything We Have Our Eye On This Month

It's felt like a long old month, hasn't it? It seems as though it was only a moment ago that we were celebrating the new year, and before you know it, we're hurtling towards Christmas (though, there are no complaints here). In celebration of the last few weeks of the brighter, cooler season, the shops are full of fall-ready wardrobe staples, and we've been hard at work searching through everything to uncover some hidden gems.

Looking for the perfect fine knit? Some designer boots? Or maybe just an editor-approved beauty buy that really works? You're in the right place. The It List is our rundown of all of the pieces that our editors are actually adding to their baskets this month, and we think they're so good that they're worth sharing with you (but let's just keep them between us).

This month, there's plenty of double-tap worthy pieces, from luxury It bags to stylish new homeware buys. We've even thrown in some great shoes and the buzzy new accessories we don't want to be without.

Keep scrolling for team Who What Wear UK's top picks for November, and as always, happy shopping.

"I keep coming across really chic, pared-back dresses at Karen Millen, so I'm not going to gatekeep! Look out for block-colour knit and tailored options that have great attention to detail, like this."

"I'm probably never not thinking about Manolo Blahnik Maysales! One day they will be mine…"

"This is currently out of stock (and will be back in early Jan), but trust me when I say it's worth the wait! I wore this for a shoot recently and haven't stopped wanting to put it on ever since. It'll really come into its own for spring, and yes, my mind is already going there…"

"You'd be surprised at just how many outfits a pair of silver boots could work with—these are my favourite because of the low heel and sleek cut."

"Spend a little bit of time on the Amazon  website, and I promise, you'll find a treasure trove of designer fashion pieces. Who knew that in amongst the airfryers and coffee machines you could find cute bags like this JW Pei classic? Well, I did. But I'm keeping Amazon Fashion my secret."

"It doesn't get better than this cosy, comfortable, and impossibly chic co-ord from Aligne. This is exactly the kind of outfit I reach for in winter when I'm too cold to decide on fussy styling, it gets the job done and looks good while doing it."

"I've got a bad habit for spending hours in Selfridges, drifting around the home and interiors section and mentally assembling my Pinterest board. The good news is, while I'm at work I don't have time to window shop. The bad news is, I can still do it online. And this &Tradition lamp is whats currently distracting me. "

"I've been looking for a pair of flat knee-high boots for weeks, and this pair come with fashion editor Remy Farrell's recommendation. I love the glossy patent finish and the sleek take on the riding silhouette."

"We're entering dream wish list territory with this one but, of all the designer bags, if I could have any, this is the one I'd choose."

"From the tight V-shaped neckline and the overturned sleeves to the expensive-looking brown hue, this is knitwear perfection as far as I'm concerned. (I think the cut-out looks best)"

"I've told everyone I know about this Byredo fragrance secret. If you have your sights set on a 100ml bottle, I implore you to try this discovery set. It includes 24 sample sizes and a voucher to purchase a 100ml size bottle once you've landed on a favourite. Then you'll have miniature fragrances to keep in every bag for top-ups throughout the day."

"RMS had me at 'Serum Lipstick' and I can confirm that this formula is great. Its a lipstick/lip stain hybrid, that melts into lips to give you a natural flush of colour in a matte finish that is both lightweight and nourishing. Its the ideal minimalist lipstick that you can pat on for days when you just want a touch of colour without the fuss. I'll be wearing the shade 'Angela' into party season and beyond."

"When this landed on my desk, I screamed. Firstly because its Celine, of course, but it was also love at first spritz. The new Cologne Celeste fragrance centres around fresh neroli, which is given a creaminess thanks to smooth ambrette and powder-like orris. This is one of those fragrances that radiates from your skin all day long, and it's the perfect citrus scent that will take you through winter and into spring next year."

"In all honesty, I came across this hat when looking for a Christmas gift for my mum. The brief was a functional warm hat (with a brim) that works both in the city and for country walksand I think this hits that perfectly. I love the brown leather with the extra wide shearling brim, and secretly want to get it for myself!"

"I love the shape of this blouse from Nobody's Child. I've been on a hunt for something similar for a while but haven't found anything with the right shape of the lapel. This will be perfect for drinks after work, with jeans and pointed boot heels."

"My Pinterest homepage is slowly transitioning from black and brown and I'm totally here for it. These boots are so sleek, I'd wear them with a mini skirt, polo neck, a knit vest and a distressed leather jacket."

"I've been on the look out for a pair of classic sunglasses for a while now, and this Celine pair is calling my name. From the elegant oval shape to the tortoiseshell finish, I'm planning on wearing these for many years to come."

"The sudden drop in temperature means I'm firmly in my cosy era, and a snuggly jumper in a timeless knit is a truly worthwhile purchase. I'm particularly taken by the relaxed shape that adds a fresh feel to this forever piece."

"I could go on for days singing the praises of Aspinal's exquisite handbags, and this particular piece is a true example of it. From the supple leather, to the adjustable strap lengths, and expensive-looking hue, this bag combines form, function and thoughtful design all in one."

"I am obsessed with this gorgeous wool jacket. This year I have vowed to buy less and buy better, and this definitely fits the bill. I'm picturing it with jeans, a rollneck and ankle boots but I also know it will work over dresses, with leggings and a chunky knit and over my Christmas party outfit. A true classic, it will be a favourite in my wardrobe for years to come."

"Christmas and New Year, plus some fun holidays in 2024, I have decide that this is the moment I will be investing in chic but high-quality luggage. I've got my eye on this stylish cabin bag from Antler, which comes with a ten year guarantee and is super lightweight. What more could you want!?"

"My favourite thing about December is getting to cosy up in new loungewear. This set from Beaumont Organic is timeless, and is made with thermal materials to keep me extra warm on chilly nights. I'm also planning on gifting the slate colour way to my mum for Christmas (let's hope she isn't reading this right now!)."

"Since the cold snap set in all I can think about is wrapping up in warm fuzzy things and sitting in front of the telly with a cup of tea and this wool-blend fringed number from H&M ticks all the right boxes. It comes in a range of colours so could make the perfect gift but I’m going for the red this festive season."

"It might be a little on the nose, but I’m eyeing up this LBD from & Other Stories for Christmas Day celebrations. Nothing says festive quite like a giant satin bow."

"I’ve been thinking about this jacket for ages and thought I’d better try it on to stop obsessing over it, but if anything it confirmed all my thoughts. The fluffy collar is perfect for the winter and I love that it’s removable so I can wear this straight through to spring."

SHOP LAST MONTH'S PICKS:

Sophie Cookson, Insights Manager

"I had been on the hunt for some Mary Jane flats, but hadn't taken the plunge until now. I love the multi straps and the pointed toe on these, and they look great on their own, or with some cute socks."

"I tried these on in duty free back in March and they have lived rent free in my mind since then. I keep kicking myself for not buying them at the time! I love to logo on the sides, and while white sunglasses aren't something that you see all the time, I can picture myself on a crisp but bright winters day wearing these and wrapped up in cosy layers."

"We called this coat in for our latest We Try Before You Buy shoot and I've been thinking about it ever since. Navy is just as classic and versatile as black, so I know this will go with everything in my wardrobe, and the relaxed but tailored silhouette ensures this will work over comfy weekend looks as well as for work and evening events. Yes, it's an investment, but one I'm willing to make when I consider the cost per wear of the piece."

"I’ve been meaning to add a Moto style leather jacket to my outwear collection. The red and white accents are the pop of colour it needs to effortlessly elevate my casual everyday looks whilst also adding a cool factor to my outfits."

"I recently went for a CACI facial at Lisa Franklin's clinic and was so impressed. A non-invasive treatment, it promises to tone muscle, smooth fine lines and prevent sagging skin as well as leave you feeling rested and relaxed. To maintain my new glowy complexion, in the weeks after my initial treatment I used the brand's new purifying silver mask, which helps to soothe skin and protect it from any breakouts, as well as nourish healthy skin. I got so many compliments the next morning that I am now a full-fledged convert and have just popped the rest of the range on my Christmas list!"

"Every year I try to invest in one piece of new knitwear, and this year I've got my eye on this LouLou Studio wool and cashmere blend style. In case you missed it, chocolate brown is a colour trend that is really having a moment this winter, and for me this is the perfect, rich hue (I try to avoid anything with an orange or rust tint). I'd wear it with blue denim and brown suede ankle boots, or with a slip skirt and knee-highs."

Hannah Almassi, Editor-In-Chief

"Denim skirts are still ranking high on my wardrobe essentials list. This particular one from Massimo Dutti is so chic. The slightly pleated detail at the back really elevates it and I love the dark indigo wash, it's perfect for the autumn/winter season."

"I tend to prefer bigger bags to carry all my essentials (and the rest of my life), but I've recently developed an obsession for small but stylish bags that are perfect for a night out. The Coperni Swipe Bag in fiery patent red has my full attention and is simply irresistible."

"Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you, organisation isn't my strong point. However, I'm determined that 2024 will be the year I get my act together, starting with this chic diary that will encourage me to stay on track."

"I’d be happy with any Loewe bag, but the Paseo has had me since its arrival on the runway last year. It has everything I want and need in an understated, everyday style. Now I just have to save up for it…"

"I hadn’t found a single pair of comfortable ballet flats until Everlane entered the chat. In that expensive-looking shade of cream, I’m going to wear these on repeat. Consider me a flat-shoe convert."

Remy Farrell, Shopping Editor

"I'm always here for more gold jewellery, and this is a new designer that has caught my eye. A great mix of ‘80s glam and more modern, minimalistic touches, I’ve already worn these countless times since buying them at the start of the summer."

Take one key summer trend (the tank top), add a classic twist (the midi dress), and voila: an easy, throw-on-and-go outfit that is guaranteed to get compliments. And, as an added bonus, it comes in black, too."

"It's not often that I try a beauty product and see such quick results that I immediately tell all of my friends and family, but after trying just about every facial in the book in an attempt to get the covetable 'glass skin' look, just one week of using Bioeffect's Power Serum and Hydrating Cream, has made me finally ditch the foundation and let my naturally brighter skin do the talking. No exaggeration."

Poppy Nash, managing editor:

"Stella McCartney's cleanser has recently become a firm favourite in my skincare routine. Not only does it remove makeup easily, but it also feels so refreshing on the skin and has left me with a smoother, brighter complexion after just a few uses. It's one of my new beauty heroes."

"I've recently had my ears pierced (I know; I'm very late to the game), and am currently on the lookout for some investment hoops that I can wear and love forever. This pair from 886 is just stunning. They're simple, chic and the type of jewellery I'd never want to take off."

"It’s reached the point where I can no longer deny my love for Skims—I’m officially a fangirl. I have the viral dress, the shapewear and the swimwear. Baby tees are all the rage this summer, so although I have this in white, I'm also adding the black to my wish list."

Remi Afolabi, video content creator:

"The denim maxi-skirt revival isn’t quite over for me just yet. I’m still very much into styles that flare out and give volume, and this Raey one delivers in spades. This will be a key wardrobe piece for me going into autumn."

Emily Dawes, affiliate editor:

"I love this versatile, striped shirt on its own, but I love it even more as a co-ord with the matching trousers. So chic."

"I've been on the hunt for the perfect navy, 'boyish' blazer for years, and I think I might have just stumbled across the holy grail in Reiss' new-in section."

"Massimo Dutti is fast becoming my go-to for expensive-looking accessories, with this shoulder bag heading straight to the top of my wish list. It comes in a handful of very chic, very versatile colours, my favourite being this wear-with-anything ecru."
